Service Details
This hands-on training addresses are radiation physics, biological effects of radiation exposure, radiation detection and protection, dosimetry, licensing and regulatory compliance requirements. Students also learn about gauge installation, relocation, surveying and leak testing. In fact, hands-on leak testing and surveying are provided on actual gauge set-ups. Successful completion qualifies the participant to be listed as the Radiation Safety Officer on their company’s radioactive material’s license. Students who cancel 10 calendar days in advance of a scheduled date will not be charged. Students who cancel less than 10 calendar days in advance of the class will be charged as if they attended.
