Checklist for Temperature Control System
Step Activity
1 Check power, volts, HZ, phase, and amps from power source
2 Check plumbing connections, line size, and line length
3 Check location of unit, air flow and serviceability
4 Fill tank, check for leaks, and open all valves
5 Start unit, check pump, compressor, fans, and controller
6 Purge lines of air, top off tank, and check for leaks
7 Unit calibration – adjust controller set point, high and low temperature limit switches, and flow switch
8 Add heat load, ensure unit maintains temperature set point and runs to all Thermo specifications
9 Check refrigeration pressures
10 Review completed procedures with the customer and answer any questions
11 Validate unit warranty
12 Provide certificate as written proof of compliance to industry standards, if required
13 Provide cursory operator training (in-depth operator and maintenance training is available as an optional service)
