The DFS provides high mass resolution for unsurpassed selectivity and sensitivity. The DFS is required to fulfill regulations e.g. in food safety, homeland security or sports doping. It is required for the analysis of food, feed and the environment for toxic or forbidden substances at an extreme trace level. Subject of analysis are environmental pollutants (e.g. dioxins, pesticides), flame retardants, pharmaceutical compounds (e.g. in forensic analysis or sports doping).
