 Risk Management Assessment

The Risk Management Assessment is an actionable, one-page report that spells out the lifecycle recommendations, options, and simple, effective steps needed to keep your NESLAB products up and running. And it’s free.

To prepare your Risk Management Assessment report, Thermo Fisher Scientific has developed a simple audit process comprising 4 steps:

Please refer to the Risk Management Overview  to help guide you through the audit process.

  1. Data Collection
  2. Data Interpretation
  3. Report Generation
  4. Recommendations

Data Collection  – First, we need to gather key information about your inventory of chillers and heat exchangers. This can be done in two ways: A technical representative from Thermo Fisher Scientific can collect this information during an onsite fab audit, or you can choose to fill out a Fab Audit Customer Worksheet.

Data Interpretation – Next, a Thermo Fisher Scientific semiconductor applications engineer will analyze and interpret the data captured during the fab audit or from the worksheet. This step entails reviewing the age of the equipment, the environment in which each unit is operating, and how the equipment is being maintained.

Report Generation  - With this information, Thermo Fisher Scientific can now prepare your Risk Management Assessment. You’ll have the information you need to minimize downtime, improve throughput, and stabilize your process. To complement your report, we include a lifecycle/risk profile in the audit process. This is a graphic representation of the probability of failure of your equipment based on its age and condition.

Recommendations - To help with the decision-making process, we offer a comprehensive, in-person presentation of our findings, which includes an executive summary, and a review of the preventive maintenance, refurbishment and replacement options contained in the report. You have the opportunity to share and discuss results with us, your peers and your management team.
