European Institute Ecublens, Switzerland

Our highly-skilled instructors have many years of experience in all phases of Optical Emission, X-Ray Fluorescence and X-Ray Diffraction operation and speak several languages: English, German, and French. If necessary, training courses can be conducted in other languages via interpreters. A set of documentation and a certificate of completion is given to each course participant.

Location Information and Directions
The Institute is located in the heart of Europe, on the shores of one of Switzerland's most beautiful lakes. It is situated about 30 minutes by road or rail from Geneva Intercontinental Airport, and the home of many international organizations and global corporations.

Driving directions from the Geneva Airport to Training Institute
From Geneva Airport, take the motorway A1 Geneva-Lausanne and exit at Morges. Then follow the direction of Lausanne. Just after Préverenges, turn left when you see the panel "Zone Industrielle En Vallaire/Ecublens". Drive 500 m and turn left at the panel "Z.I. Vallaire Ouest C".

Train direction from the Geneva Airport to Training Institute
Take the train directly at the Geneva airport until Morges or Lausanne. Then, in both cases, take a taxi to Ecublens, En Vallaire Ouest C. Morges is at 4 km and Lausanne at 10 km from Ecublens.

Our registrar will be happy to make hotel arrangements or provide for any other accommodations that will make your stay more enjoyable. Hotels that have agreed to provide discount rates to the Institute attendees or provide corporate rates are listed below. Your reservation must be made from the Institute office to receive these special rates. Early advanced reservations are recommended. High season rates usually run from May through October but vary with each hotel.
