Thermo Fisher Scientific (Milwaukee) has pioneered the manufacturing of nucleotide triphosphates with expertise encompassing deoxy-, dideoxy- and ribonucleotides.  We have responded to the evolution of increasingly sensitive molecular biology techniques with ultra-high purity products.  In addition, our product range includes nucleotide analogs, dye-labeled nucleotides, α-thio nucleotides, and cap analogs. 

Specifications and testing options include:

  • Single base presence
  • Pyrophosphate tested
  • Nuclease tested
  • Absence of ribo- or other base analogs

Molecular Biology Reagents and Bioprocessing

Our rich tradition in the manufacture of molecular biology products includes Taq polymerase, RNase inhibitors, RNA polymerases, and other biochemicals such as Co-enzyme A and its derivatives.  Our protein purification capabilities include a wide choice of purification schemes including liquid chromatography, ion exchange, biomimetic gel filtration, affinity chromatography, tangential flow and size exclusion chromatography.  Purified proteins can be tested using a variety of QC methods and can be supplied in various grades including DNase- and RNAse free. 

In addition to proteins, we also offer purified DNA and RNA from bacterial (including plasmids), viral, mammalian, and other sources purified to your specifications.  Thermo Fisher Scientific also can manufacture of a wide range of molecular weight markers, from small oligonucleotide sizing markers to ladders in increments of your choice, and formulations of digested DNA fragments.  These products can be customized with a choice of substrates and enzyme combinations and supplied in liquid or dried form or combined into kits.
