Fisher Scientific Launches New Modular Rheometer The
Successor to the Thermo Scientific HAAKE RheoStress Series Now

Plastics and Rubber Trade Fair K 2007 the launch of the Thermo Scientific HAAKE
RheoStress 6000, the latest modular rheometer and successor to the Thermo
Scientific HAAKE RheoStress series. The new rheometer is focused on applications
in research & development and quality control.
The
modular HAAKE RheoStress 6000 combines proven technology plus the latest
innovations from the high end Thermo Scientific HAAKE MARS rheometer. Improved
normal force measurements and specifications as well as broad application
solutions including UV curing, construction material cell and pressure cell
emphasize the rheometers broad field of applications.

HAAKE RheoStress 6000 is fully compatible with existing accessories of previous
RheoStress models. This makes it easier to upgrade to the new generation in
rheology without making a huge investment. Thanks to the HAAKE MARS technology
inside, our customers can now benefit from the newest trends in technology
developments.
The
measuring and evaluation software for viscometers and rheometers, the Thermo
Scientific HAAKE RheoWin, is continuously aligned to customer needs and
requirements. The software is customized to offer convenient operation with
default settings for beginners and full access to all relevant measuring
parameters for advanced rheologists. An optional tool ensuring compliance with
FDA 21 CFR Part 11 is offered as well as several polymer software modules: The
TTS (Time Temperature Superposition) module to generate master curves and the
spectra module to calculate relaxation spectra. In addition, an MWD (Molecular
Weight Distribution) is offered.
