Selectively cleave immunoglobulin molecules into Fab, Fab', F(ab')2 and Fc fragments. Pierce Antibody Fragmentation Kits use immobilized papain, pepsin or ficin to avoid protease contamination and provide precise control of the digestion process.

Fab Preparation Kit
Digest human or mouse IgG antibodies to make separate Fab and Fc fragments. Kit uses immobilized papain and includes a Protein A column to separate the two types of immunoglobulin fragments.
F(ab’)2 Preparation Kit
Digest whole human and other IgG antibodies to make F(ab')2 fragments that retain antigen binding activity. Kit uses immobilized pepsin, allowing for efficient digestion without protease contamination.
Mouse IgG1 Fab and F(ab’)2 Preparation Kit
Efficiently digest mouse IgG1 into Fab or F(ab')2 fragments using Immobilized Ficin. Provides better cleavage and fragment activity for mouse IgG1 than pepsin. Make either Fab or F(ab')2, and purify them from the Fc fragments.
IgM Fragmentation Kit
Make better use of whole IgM antibodies by using this kit to create immunoreactive "Fab" or "IgG"-sized antibody fragments. Kit includes immobilized trypsin and pepsin to easily generate a variety of specific IgM fragments.
