 BioImage Redistribution Assays

High Content Screening (HCS) is a powerful drug discovery method that has several advantages over traditional drug screening approaches. HCS enables study of the activity of drug targets in a cellular context which resembles the natural physiological state much better than it does in high throughput screening using biochemical or molecular assays. Test compounds are inherently screened for membrane permeability and activity under influence of the cellular environment.

Furthermore, HCS reduces risk and saves costs as it allows acquisition of multiple readouts in a single assay. In addition to the primary readout, high content assays provide supplementary information about cell morphology, compound fluorescence, and cellular toxicity early in the drug discovery process.

We offer an array of products and services based on our proprietary Redistribution® technology. The Redistribution technology is a high content cell-based assay approach, which monitors the cellular translocation of GFP-tagged proteins in response to drug compounds or other stimuli.
