Raman Matched Libraries
Using these libraries with the OMNIC Linked Search software compares a Raman spectrum of the sample against a matched set of spectral reference data in the libraries. Matching the sample via types of spectra and collating the results greatly increases the quality of search which increases the confidence in the results for making a positive identification.

Raman Spectral Libraries
Raman spectra are ideal for library searching because they are comprised of relatively sharp, distinct bands with very little interference from water, highly polar bonds and additives such as Nujol.
