Raman Microscopy
Coupling the strength and flexibility of Raman spectroscopy with a microscope, Raman microscopy offers excellent spatial resolution (<1µm). Placing a small aperture in the microscope's focal plane, makes confocal microscopy possible ? useful for non-destructively probing sample depths without cross-sectioning.
Accessories for dispersive Raman spectrometers.
Products
To observe the Raman spectrum, it is necessary to seperate the collected Raman scattered light into individual wavelengths. In dispersive Raman instruments, this is accomplished by focusing the Raman signal on a grating, which spatially seperates the different wavelengths. This spatially dispersed beam is directed to a CCD.
