Sample Preparation

Dialysis is one of the most commonly used techniques to separate sample components based on selective diffusion across a porous membrane. The pore size determines molecular-weight cutoff (MWCO) of the membrane that is characterized by the molecular-weight at which 90% of the solute is retained by the membrane.
