Thermo Informatics World - Middle East (UAE, Dubai)
Held at the prestigious Jumeriah Emirates Towers Hotel, this user meeting is scheduled for the Middle Eastern community to showcase new and future developments of our Informatics software and provide a forum for the discussion of our products and services. Representations from Thermo Fisher Scientific and Kanoo/Ksoft experts will be available throughout the meeting to provide an opportunity to meet face to face for discussions and solicit feedback for new feature requests.

Course Descriptions - (Each are 0.5 Day)

  • ISO 17025 & LIMS Training Course Part I & II - ISO 17025 is rapidly becoming accepted as a necessity for both commercial laboratories as well as in-house labs providing a service to the rest of the organization. This training will help any lab seeking ISO 17025 accreditation understand areas LIMS can help support their endeavor. Organizations already accredited will benefit from hearing examples of how LIMS has reduced the administrative burden of maintaining compliance. 
  • Instrument Integration
    Half day certified course giving an overview of the IM architecture, and the showing how to connect com port and file based instruments, parse out relevant data and update in the SampleManager database.
  • Advanced SampleManager LIMS User
    A half day certified course covering advanced user features within SampleManager, such as configuring the SampleManager Explorer, plus using Component Lists, Analysis Matrices and AQC Batches.
  • Advanced SampleManager Administration
    A half day certified course for the SampleManager administrator. Includes newer aspects such as setting up the SampleManager Web Interface, writing extensions in Microsoft .Net, performance monitoring and sizing.
  • Retriever web based reporting for SampleManager using Crystal Reports Introductory course to our new web based reporting tool for SampleManager. As well as basic administration you will earn how to build and manage report templates, and then deploy to the users via the zero footprint web interface.
