San Jose, CA - (August 19, 2005) – With more than 50 years experience and over 900 instruments installed worldwide, Thermo Electron Corporation strengthens its leading position in the Isotope Ratio MS market with the launch of two new gas isotope ratio mass spectrometers, the DELTA V Advantage and the DELTA V Plus. This new DELTA V series offers excellent linearity and stability, a new, compact design that takes less laboratory space and guarantees low noise emission. The new DELTA V series is targeted at academic customers as well as scientists, whose main topic of research is geology, forensic, agriculture, food and beverage, quality control, doping, pharmaceuticals or medical and diagnostics industries.
Incorporating the DELTA V Advantage and DELTA V Plus, the new DELTA V series supercedes the market leading DELTA Plus Advantage and the DELTA Plus XP, offering superior performance with respect to sensitivity, versatility and reliability.
