Karlsruhe (October 04, 2005) Thermo Electron Corporation, the world leader in analytical instruments, will present its HAAKE and NESLAB circulators in hall 2/booth B25 at Biotechnica, held October 18 - 20, 2005 in Hannover, Germany. At the show, Thermo will introduce the HAAKE Phoenix II Series of bath circulators to the biotechnology industry.

“HAAKE Phoenix II circulators are noteworthy because of their large graphic displays that incorporate plain text dialogs and simple user interfaces for intuitive navigation. Quick and easy temperature control laboratory applications are not only possible, but virtually guaranteed.” said Silke Ebbing, product manager for Temperature Control product lines. The refrigerated HAAKE Phoenix II circulator on display handles temperature range from -28 to 150 °C with a temperature accuracy of +/- 0,01 K. The integrated programmer can be operated in six languages, and the unit can be controlled via RS232 and RS485 interface.

Thermo also will display HAAKE C/DC circulators, inexpensive units that offer high power capacities, plus NESLAB RTE and EX Series bath circulators. These workhorse units are designed for maximum performance in the lab with minimum space requirements. For example, NESLAB RTE 740 refrigerated units have a heating capacity of 2 kW and a cooling capacity of 800 watts with a footprint of just 29 x 48 cm. The tried-and-tested digital control and the pressure and suction pump ensure a high level of accuracy and reproducibility for temperature control within a range of -40 to 200 °C.
