Announcing the
release of Nautilus 8.1. Building on the great improvements in
Nautilus 8, Nautilus 8.1 offers you better ways to search, find, & complete
work, generate ad-hoc reporting, manage null fields in auditing, secure
background password & database, and manage licensing.
Nautilus 8.1 brings these improvements by adding:
- Auto-Filter Row in the enhanced explorer
- New graphical query builder
- Additional Explorer Exports to PDF, CSV, MHT, Rich
Text Document, & BMP Image
- Encrypted Background Passwords
- New Background Wizard for setting passwords and
auto-restart times
- New optional password and wizard for Lims_User
role
- FlexNet Licensing
- Flexible Null Audit Tags
- New method for storing workflow
events
With all of these enhancements, you will want to upgrade to take
advantage of Nautilus 8.1.

customers can download Nautilus 8.1 at http://support.thermoinformatics.com/prodinfo/info/product-nautilus.asp#Downloads
The latest version of Nautilus has been integrated to utilize the FLEXNet
license management application. Licenses received and installed for
versions prior to 8.1 will not work on this new version. Obtaining a new license
will require certain technical information regarding your software installation.
Contact technical support to receive a valid license you will need to
provide the following information:
- System Registration
ID
- MAC Address and Host Name of the proposed license
server
- Instance name of Nautilus database instance
