ROSS Sure-Flow Electrodes provide a free-flowing sleeve junction especially designed for measurement in general pH samples as well as viscous or colloidal samples whenever best performance is desired. The junction can be cleaned easily between measurements; pressing down on the cap allows filling solution to flow through the junction, carrying away any contamination that may interfere with measurement.
The Orion 8175BNWP combines the Sure-Flow junction with a rugged epoxy body. A sleeve protects the pH sensing bulb and is removable for easy cleaning. The rugged epoxy body is resistant to strong acids and strong bases. It may be used intermittently in some organics. Polar organic compounds should be strictly avoided.
Teamed with the introduction of the Orion Star Series, Thermo Scientific has also introduced the new WP- waterproof and secure electrode connectors, a revolutionary feature of the new Orion Star Series Meters. The BNWP connector provides a waterproof and secure connection when used with the new Orion Star Series meters. The BNWP connector is compatible with any standard BNC connector both on Orion meters and competitive meter models.
