The Orion AQUA40 is an on-line glass-body combination pH electrode designed for accurate pH measurements in a flowcell. The AQUA40 is a double junction Ag/AgCl non-refillable pH electrode with an S8 connector.

The Orion AQUA40 process pH electrode features the unique CONTACT Reference System. This reference system utilizes a polymer reference electrolyte. This NEW polymer electrolyte does not hydrolyze or breakdown and is extremely stable. The polymer reference electrolyte makes direct CONTACT with the sample, through an open-hole junction. Problems associated with clogged junctions are eliminated!
There electrodes are Ag/AgCl double-junction combination pH electrodes, which do not have any silver (Ag+) in the electrolyte contacting the sample. Samples and temperatures that precipitate silver are not a problem.
