Engineered for safe continuous operation, this unit features a user settable, overtemperature protection system that alerts you if an overtemperature condition exists and shuts off the unit heater. Microprocessor PID controller provides precise control of temperature and shaking frequency. Membrane touchpad and digital display of RPM and temperature allow quick setting of the shaking frequency and operating temperature. Built-in drain makes coolant changes convenient and reduces the chance of spills.
Large stainless steel carriage plate accommodates a variety of flasks, beakers and tubes including up to five 1000ml flasks. Optional, transparent gable shaped cover is recommended for temperatures above 70°C. Cover improves heating response time and prevents spills from splashing.
