Shandon LM-4 Features
Grid Plate Work Surface The grids are fabricated of 18-gauge, type 304 stainless steel with a #4 finish. Each grid plate has two 11-gauge stainless steel stand-offs to provide fluid drainage.
Pedestal Fabricated of 14-gauge, type 304 stainless steel with a #4 finish. The pedestal acts as an air plenum for the downdraft. The pedestal is also flanged on the interior with four 0.625" (1.6 cm) diameter holes for mounting to facility floor.
Downdraft Ventilation Integral downdraft ventilation assembly provides a passageway for fumes to be exhausted downward from the work surface through the pedestal of the table.
Tabletop Fabricated of 14-gauge, type 304 stainless steel with a #4 finish and constructed with full 1” (2.54 cm) radius corners for easy cleaning and sanitation. All edges are flanged around the full perimeter along with a welded-in 14-gauge “U”-formed channel and angled cross supports providing maximum strength and durability.
Acoustic Coating Applied to the underside to deaden sound and to prevent condensation, the coating is applied and then sealed with silver enamel paint.
Welding All welds utilize only stainless steel as a filler medium. All visible welds shall be ground smooth and regrained to match the #4 finish.
Plumbing All external plumbing parts are brass with a heavy chrome plating finish.
Vacuum Breaker Vacuum breakers protect the potable water supply.
Sink A large single compartment sink is provided on the end of table. A leverhandle drain or a disposal is provided.
Faucet Located at the end of the table, a hot/cold faucet is supplied with a swivel spout, built-in vacuum breaker and wrist-blade handles.
Built-In Table Rinse Built-in continuous flow table rinse with 10 spray nozzles, complete with vacuum breaker and flow control valve.
Hydro-aspirator Deluxe hydro-aspirator with reverse flow is supplied. It is complete with control valve, vacuum breaker, air gap and plastic tubing.

Duplex Receptacle A hospital-grade duplex GFCI (ground fault current interrupter) receptacle is provided on 110-120V units. This feature interrupts the electrical supply when a ground fault occurs to protect the user against electrical shock.
A hospital-grade duplex receptacle is provided on 220-240V units. This receptacle does not protect against shock, however, it is ready for the customer to connect it to an RCD (residual current device) which does protect against shock.
