Product Detail
Shandon AN-68-L Features
Multiple-Use Capability Coupled with one of the AN-49 series transportable autopsy tables, it creates an efficient workstation as well as a sink.
Ventilation Unit connects to facility ventilation system.
Fluorescent Lights The unit features fluorescent, UL-rated lighting for damp locations.
Plumbing All visible plumbing parts are brass with a heavy chrome-plating finish. All water supply lines are protected by anti-siphon vacuum breakers which prevent the potable water supply from being contaminated by pollutants if water pressure drops.
Faucet Completely plumbed, hot/cold faucets are supplied with a swivel spout, built-in vacuum breaker and wrist-blade handles.
Hydro-aspirator Deluxe hydro-aspirator with reverse-flow feature is supplied complete with control valve, vacuum breaker, air gap and plastic tubing.
Table Rinse With Tubing Table rinse assembly with 12' (3.7 m) of clear flexible tubing delivers a high rate of water flow to rinse the sink.
Eyewash Station A spray head with lever-operated controls is mounted on the backsplash of the unit. In the event of an emergency, it delivers an immediate water flow to thoroughly flush eyes.
Hand-Held Spray The hand-held sprayer is useful for general rinsing and cleaning. It is equipped with an 8' (2.4 m) flexible hose and an on/off control on the handle.
Fabrication Units are made from type 304 stainless steel with a #4 finish. All welds are made with stainless steel filler and ground smooth and regrained to match the #4 finish.
Factory Tested All plumbing and electrical work is accomplished at the factory and is tested prior to shipment.
Acoustic Coating The coating is applied to the underside of unit for sound deadening and to prevent condensation.
Grid Plates Removable, perforated stainless steel grid plates provide a flat working surface. The area beneath the plates is sloped to promote drainage.
Duplex Receptacle Hospital-grade duplex GFCI (ground fault current interrupter) receptacles are provided on all 110-120V units. This feature interrupts the electrical supply when a ground fault occurs to protect the user against electrical shock.
Hospital-grade duplex receptacles are provided on 220-240V AN-68 Series units. While these receptacles do not protect against shock, they are ready for the customer to connect them to an RCD (residual current device) which does protect against shock.
