The Peltier cooling upgrade reduces polyatomic interferences, enhances sensitvity and improves the stability of the X Series ICP-MS. This allows users to optimize the X Series ICP-MS for a diverse set of requirements, such as biomedical, geological, semi-conductor and nuclear applications.

The Peltier cooling upgrade comprises the Peltier Cooling Block for the spray chamber, and a separate power supply unit. Fitting takes less than 10 minutes and is easily achieved by the instrument user, with all connections already provided on the X Series and no need to interface to any external items.
