   Product Detail

Synchronized Hybrid Ambient Real-time Particulate Monitor that combines light scattering photometry and beta radiation attenuation in one instrument. Now you can have simple, accurate, precise particulate monitoring.  At any time resolution.

This unique instrument combines nephelometry and beta attenuation sensing technologies for fast accurate readings that are highly time resolved.  Intellegent RH control and frequent filter changes eliminate water vapor without loss of volatile organic compounds.  It also allows you to spend more time - approximately 99% - capturing data.

The SHARP includes the Intelligent Moisture Reduction System (IMR) that regulates humidity levels by using a heating system that is linked to an upstream relative humidity sensor providing a truly realistic and representative measurement of the relative humidity at the particulate measurement head.  The result is a system that heats only when necessary, eliminates moisture effects, and assures that the volatile compounds stay intact for accurate measurement.

Installation and set-up of the SHARP is extremely simple without the need for complex components that require excessive time and effort.  Easy to navigate menus allow users to glide through set-up of parameters allowing the instrument to run almost effortlessly.  Routine maintenance is necessary only once per year making the SHARP the lowest maintenance continuous monitor in the market today.

Key  Features:

  • True continuous mass calibrated instrument for accurate PM measurements with high time resolution.
  • Intelligent Moisture Reduction System (IMR) eliminates moisture interference while preserving volatile aerosols.
  • Dynamic digital filtering for continuous calibration update.
  • Superior accuracy for consistent correlation with Federal Reference Methods.
  • Continuous measurement technique offers >99% data capture.
