New compliance rules for sulfur in diesel and gasoline are rapidly lowering total sulfur specifications towards sub ppm levels. Many modern catalysts-based de-sulfurization processes require total nitrogen analysis, even at ppb level.

The Thermo Scientific TN/TS 3000 enables many users in refineries and chemical industries to follow this trend. The analytical performance of this combustion UV and CLD system starts at 10 ppb and goes up to percentage level for a wide range of applications. The future-proof Total Nitrogen and Total Sulfur analyzer is equipped with various sample-introduction modules for liquids, solids, and gases. Enhanced combustion technology assures optimum conversion of the samples. Two high-end Thermo Scientific fluorescence and chemiluminescence detectors are used for simultaneous sulfur and nitrogen detection.

An extra feature of the TN/TS 3000 is the ability to analyze total chlorine by applying an extra module. Practice shows that the TN/TS 3000 operates nearly matrix independent.
