Microtiter polypropylene microplates are made from virgin grade polypropylene. They are biologically inert and have high resistance to organic solvents including DMSO. The high temperature resistance from -196 to +121 ºC enables storing in ultra low temperature freezers and autoclaving (at 121ºC, 1 atm, 20 min).
Polypropylene plates have a specially designed V-shape bottom and well volume of 0.5 ml with standard height plate or well volume of 2 ml with deep well plate. The deep well plate can be sealed with a cap mat lid, available in either a non-sterile or sterile format. Thermo polypropylene plates are compatible with automated liquid handling instruments.
