HyperSep Hypercarb™ is a unique material for solid phase extraction applications. It is ideally suited to separations, where C18 is not appropriate or applicable. It is unlike traditional silica-bonded phases both in its structure and retentive properties. The flat graphite structure has selectivity for structurally similar compounds, offering separation of compounds with simple solvents.
Product Detail
Unique 100% Porous Graphitic Carbon (PGC)
Excellent for retention of highly polar compounds not normally retained on C18
Stable across pH 0 - 14
Excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility
Strong retention properties allow use of low bed weights for concentrated extracts
Unique interaction mechanism with polar molecules
HyperSep SPE columns offer reproducible and reliable sample preparation in a traditional polypropylene column format. An even particle size distribution within the bed provides reproducible flow characteristics.
The HyperSep-96 system uses a 96-well plate format providing fast analysis without sacrificing accuracy or reproducibility. The design offers flexibility with individual removable wells for convenient method development.
Applications
Very polar and water-soluble micropollutants from drinking and environmental waters
High organic content solvents for rapid extract concentration
Ionic, ionizable and extremely polar compounds, including pesticides and drug metabolites
Extraction of extremely polar compounds from aqueous matrices
