Three centrifuges in one, the Biofuge Primo R incorporates the benefits of a microlitre, high-speed, and general-purpose centrifuge into one unit. Ideal for routine analysis and biochemistry and molecular biological research, the Biofuge Primo R offers the following benefits:
  • Application flexibility – With six rotors (Swinging bucket, Fixed-angle, and microliter) to choose from, the Biofuge Primo Rhandles a host of applications.
  • User-friendly technology – The unit’s "Easycontrol II" control panel clearly displays all operational and run parameters. Self-explanatory symbols and an ergonomic arrangement of function keys allow safe, straightforward operation.
  • High-performance technology – Low noise levels (< 60 dBA) provide undisturbed working conditions; rapid acceleration and braking times ensure rapid sample processing.
  • Imbalance detection – The Biofuge Primo R features electronic imbalance detection, which responds if samples are loaded incorrectly or if a tube breaks. Centrifugation is automatically interrupted, protecting the centrifuge from damage.
  • Safe to use - Independent biocontainment certification means peace of mind when working with infectious or hazardous samples.
