Thermo Scientific VARIOKLAV® Classic sterilizers are specifically designed for routine sterilization in microbiological laboratories. They are easy to install, robust and require little maintenance. The sterilization process runs automatically and allows unsupervised operation. They are available in 2 sizes with 75 L (Model 400) and 135 L (Model 500) chamber volume.
Our top loading autoclaves come standard with a sample temperature probe, 2 stainless steel baskets and a 20 litres condensate collector tank.
The 400 & 500 FA models are delivered with an additional exhaust-air-filtration system for safe and emission-free sterilization of contaminated, infectious or pathogenic materials and media. Thermo Scientific Varioklav sterilizers are a great fit in any laboratory.

Designed for liquids, culture media, solids such as instruments, glassware and devices and waste where forced cooling, printer, vacuum or forced drying is not required.

Safe and robust: Central locking mechanism with 6 massive stainless steel bolts, pressure vessel made of titanium-stabilized stainless steel (1.4571), high corrosion resistance, long lasting heating elements placed OUTSIDE the sterilization chamber.
Easy to install & easy to operate: No connection to demineralized water source needed. The feeding water is filled manually in to the chamber, the 75 litres autoclaves can be connected to a standard 230V receptacle. The exhaust steam can be collected in the collector tank delivered with the autoclave. Time and temperature of sterilization can easily be modified and secured with a key.
