Base protecting groups are easily removed under mild cleavage and deprotection conditions.

Mild deprotection conditions reduce degradation during final deprotection. They allow for incorporation of dyes and other chemical modifications which may be labile under harsh deprotection conditions.

Thermo Scientific Controlled Pore Glass (CPG) Synthesis supports are offered with 500Å pore size and 40±5µmol/gram loading and recommended for synthesis of RNA oligonucleotides up to 50mers. RNA CPG is provided with 5'DMT and 2'TBDMS protection.
