Thermo Scientific Premium Large Muffle Furnace provides a spacious 864 cubic
inch (14 liters) capacity and reaches a maximum of 1200°C, making it ideal for
ashing organic and inorganic samples and conducting gravimetric
analysis.

The Thermo Scientific Premium Large Muffle Furnace is a high capacity furnace that includes safety features and a choice of four temperature controller models.
Four heating elements are located on the chamber’s top, bottom and sides for enhanced temperature uniformity.
Built-in vent port removes undesirable contaminants and moisture to extend the life of the element and unit.
Rear of the chamber incorporates a 0.38" (0.95 cm) diameter port for monitoring chamber temperatures with independent measuring devices.
Optional stainless steel shelf doubles load capacity (maximum temperature of 900°C).
Safety
For added protection, door safety switch stops power to the heating elements when you open the door.
Thermocouple break protection cuts power to the heating elements, preventing a thermocouple failure runaway condition.
Models F6010 and F6018 include a cord and plug set. All other models require a conduit connection.
Choice of Temperature Controllers
A1: Digital single set point control. Single display shows actual temperature or set point.
B1: Digital single set point control with single ramp to set point and a dwell. Single display shows actual temperature or set point. Furnaces with this control also use a mechanical Over Temperature Protection relay.
C1: Digital programmable control with 1 stored program of 8 segments. Furnaces with this control also use a mechanical Over Temperature Protection relay.
D1: Digital programmable control with 4 stored programs, 16 segments per program. Controller includes RS-232 communications. Furnaces with this control also use a mechanical Over Temperature Protection relay.
