The
Thermo Scientific High Temperature 1500°C/1700°C Tube Furnace, available in two
styles, provides rapid heat-up to 1500°C or 1700°C in a 20 inch (50.8 cm) heated
zone, making it ideal for tubes.
Product Detail
The tube furnace is available in a 1700°C fixed horizontal chamber or a 1500°C adjustable tilt chamber for operation in horizontal, angular and vertical positions. The Thermo Scientific High Temperature 1500°C/1700°C Tube Furnace accommodates 1, 2 or 3 inch (2.5, 5.1 or 7.6 cm) diameter tubes with supplied ceramic collars. Process tubes are not supplied.
Heat-Up
Furnace reaches 1500°C in 30 minutes. This rate allows for optimum element life.
Eight Super Kanthal 33 Molybdenum Disilicide heating elements have a long life and excellent heat-up and uniformity characteristics.
Current controller gradually gives power to elements extending the life of the heating elements.
Forced air circulation between inner and outer walls ensures longevity of electronic components. The exterior remains cool.
Electrical connection requires fixed wiring (no power cord).
Tilt Design
Horizontal, angular or vertical design provides operational versatility.
Tilt design of the 1500°C tube furnace has a quick release lever. Spring loaded mechanism allows ease of positioning with bench top stability.
Controls
For easy installation, the chamber and controller combination requires only one electrical hook-up.
Control unit is integrated into the furnace housing, assuring maximum furnace performance and saving bench top space.
Microprocessor controls, single set point or programmable, allow flexibility in choosing the correct controller for your application.
Built-in controls can be interchanged easily by sliding the control module out of the sleeve.
Choice of Temperature ControllersYou have a choice of two controllers: D1 and E1. Furnaces that use these controllers also use a mechanical Over Temperature Protection relay. D1 and E1 controllers also have RS-232 digital communications.
D1: Digital programmable control with 4 stored programs, 16 segments per program.
E1: Digital programmable control with 20 stored programs, 16 segments per program.
