The
Thermo Scientific Single Zone Split Tube Furnace reaches a1200°C maximum temperature, provides a
12 or 24 inch (30or 60 cm) heated
zone and can be operated vertically with the optional floorstand for ultimate
functionality.
Product Detail
The Thermo Scientific Single Zone Split Tube Furnace includes a built-in temperature controller to conserve valuable bench space.
The furnace is flexible enough to be mounted horizontally, remotely or vertically on the optional floor stand (model AY793X1).
Furnace heats to 1200°C in only 20 minutes. Exposed coil heating elements are embedded in state-of-the-art ceramic fiber insulation.
1, 2 and 3 inch (2.5, 5.1 and 7.6 cm) tube chamber collars are included. Process tubes are not supplied.
Door safety switch stops power to the heating elements when you open the chamber to load/unload process tubes.
Over temperature protection safeguards your valuable research by permitting you to set the desired maximum temperature.
Furnace is guarded with thermocouple break protection. If an open circuit occurs, power is cut off to the elements to avoid an over temperature condition.
Electrical connection requires fixed wiring (no power cord).
Choice of Temperature Controllers
You have a choice of three temperature control models. Furnaces that use these three controls also use a mechanical Over Temperature Protection relay.
B1: Digital single set point control with a single ramp to set point and a dwell. Single display shows actual temperature or set point.
C1: Digital programmable control with 1 stored program of 8 segments.
D1: Digital programmable control with 4 stored programs, 16 segments per program. Also includes RS-232 communications.
