Description
The unique ReddyMix PCR buffer has an inert red tracking dye and gel loading precipitant already added. After thermal cycling, a sample of the reaction can be removed and loaded directly onto an agarose gel without the addition of loading dye. Combining the components for PCR with gel-loading buffer in a single master mix eliminates many pre- and post- PCR set-up steps. ReddyMix Kits give the same high performance as standard ThermoPrime™ Taq DNA Polymerase Kits.
The inert red dye migrates between bromophenol blue and xylene cyanol, at approximately 300bp, depending on the agarose concentration. Since the additives are in the reaction buffer, rather than in the enzyme preparation, the red dye and precipitant are present at optimal concentrations in the final mix.
Gel-ready samples. ReddyMix buffers contain a red dye and precipitant, eliminating the need to add gel loading buffer to samples prior to agarose gel electrophoresis.
Easy-to-see mix. The inert red dye allows for easy sample visualization during reaction set-up.
High thermal stability. Proprietary buffer formulation protects ThermoPrime Taq during high temperature steps, ensuring optimal performance throughout the PCR reaction.
Full-length amplification. ThermoPrime Taq is proven to amplify standard templates in excess of 12kb.
Convenient storage. Kits can be stored at 4°C eliminating the need for repeated freezing and thawing of individual components.
Simple protocol. Master Mix formats contain all the components required for PCR (with the exception of template and primers), reducing protocol steps and minimizing the risk of pipetting errors and sample contamination.
Reproducible results. ThermoPrime Taq is fully licensed for PCR, and all mixes undergo extensive quality control testing to ensure batch-to-batch consistency.
