Description

The unique ReddyMix PCR buffer has an inert red tracking dye and gel loading precipitant already added. After thermal cycling, a sample of the reaction can be removed and loaded directly onto an agarose gel without the addition of loading dye. Combining the components for PCR with gel-loading buffer in a single master mix eliminates many pre- and post- PCR set-up steps. ReddyMix Kits give the same high performance as standard ThermoPrime™ Taq DNA Polymerase Kits.

The inert red dye migrates between bromophenol blue and xylene cyanol, at approximately 300bp, depending on the agarose concentration. Since the additives are in the reaction buffer, rather than in the enzyme preparation, the red dye and precipitant are present at optimal concentrations in the final mix.

  • Reproducible results. ThermoPrime Taq is fully licensed for PCR, and all mixes undergo extensive quality control testing to ensure batch-to-batch consistency.
