Description
Red Hot Taq DNA Polymerase consists of our high performance ThermoPrime Taq DNA Polymerase, plus a unique red indicator dye. This red dye facilitates accurate low volume pipetting and quick enzyme addition verification. Once Red Hot Taq is added to the PCR reaction, the reaction mixture becomes pink, allowing for easy visual verification that enzyme has been added. This inert red dye has no adverse effect on the outcome of PCR (yields are the same as with standard ThermoPrime Taq) and does not interfere with any downstream applications.
