Description

Proteinase K is a non-specific serine protease. One unit of Proteinase K is defined as the amount that liberates Folin-positive amino acids and peptides equivalent to 1µmol tyrosine per minute at pH7.5 and 37°C, using haemoglobin as a substrate. This product is QC tested for negligible DNase and RNase activity (see or request a specification sheet for further details).
