The model 15i HCl is based on the principle that Hydrogen Chloride (HCl) absorbs infrared radiation at a wavelength of 3.4 microns. Infrared absorption is a nonlinear measurement technique, Model 15i HCl provides the necessary electronics to transform a basic analyzer signal into a linear output by using an exact calibration curve to accurately linearize the instrument output to any range up to a concentration of 5,000ppm. This state of the art gas analyzer offers features such as an Ethernet port as well as flash memory for increased data storage and field upgradeability.
