An innovative new concept in a power assisted microtome combines the advantages of rotary and sliding microtomes.
Product Detail
Power assisted horizontal movements are proportionally related to the sample size moving across the knife edge. Duplicate controls allow for convenient operation with the left or right hand while the operating levers and handles may be positioned for operator comfort. The microtome adapts itself to the physical requirements of the user.
Selection of sectioning mode or trimming mode is through a push button on the operating arm. The mass required to be accelerated during sectioning has been considerably reduced eliminating stress to the hand, wrist and forearm.
