A sliding microtome designed with automatic or manual fine sectioning. The integrated knife carrier glides along a maintenance free precision cross-roller bearing system ensuring fast, comfortable and non-tiring operation

   Product Detail


The unit is designed to section paraffin and frozen sections in biological, botanical and materials science applications. Selection of manual or automatic advance is easily selected via the turn of a knob. Coarse advance can be adjusted in 100µm up to 800µm. The length of the horizontal knife movement can be selected in accordance with the size of the specimen in order to activate the automatic specimen advance. Specimen sizes up to 80 x 60mm can be accommodated.
