The Thermo Scientific TRACE™ TR-FFAP GC Column is a nitroterephthalic acid (TPA) modified polyethylene glycol (PEG)-based phase ideal for the analysis of polar compounds. The TR-FFAP GC Column is highly cross-linked resulting in excellent peak shape and is particularly suited to analysis of underivatized short chain carboxylic acids, free fatty acids and alcohols.

• Environmental analysis of acidic compounds in water
• Effluent analysis from water treatment plants
• Monitoring of soluble acidic compounds
