Engineered to provide even temperature distribution and rapid heating, the Cytomat 44 series of incubators provide stable, homogeneous temperature and humidity conditions for optimal assay storage. With a plate capacity of up to 924 standard, SBS-sized plates, dry, humidity controlled, and humid models and temperatures from -20°C up to 25°C, the Cytomat 44 series is suitable for a wide range of storage applications.

Cytomat 44 HC-S: A humidity controlled storage solution

The Cytomat 44 HC-S can maintain a temperature range of +4°C to +25°C and a constant humidity level of 20-50% rH. The Cytomat 44 HC-S has a specially designed internal liquid reservoir that creates a stable level of DMSO/water atmosphere. This makes the Cytomat 44 HC-S the ideal solution for DMSO/water mixtures.

Cytomat 44 D: Storage in a dry environment

A temperature range of -20°C to +25°C and a constant humidity level of just 10% rH minimizes DMSO water absorption, makes the Cytomat 44 D the ideal dry storage solution.

Easy Integration and Rapid Access

The Cytomat 44 series of incubators are easy to integrate, access or setup and are suitable for most laboratory environments. A single point of integration that creates an extremely robot-friendly design, as the robot only needs to be taught one position for plate retrieval. The small access door and Thermo Scientific Plate ShuttleTM system allow microplates to enter and exit the unit in seconds, significantly minimizing disruption to the controlled environment and virtually eliminating recovery times. Plates are randomly accessed and can be retrieved in just 60 seconds. The Plate Shuttle system and access door can handle all standard microplate formats including deep-well plates.

Superior Sample Tracking

A built in barcode reader can scan barcodes at any plate position inside the Cytomat 44. This minimizes plate movement and provides superior sample and plate tracking.
