The Cytomat Hotel provides robot-friendly ambient storage for 189 standard microplates. It can be easily integrated into any automated assay system. The Thermo Scientific Plate ShuttleTM system loads and unloads plates to a single location. This single point of integration saves time during installation and operation because the robot only needs to be taught one position for plate retrieval.
Microplates can be randomly accessed in less that 30 seconds, and the Plate Shuttle system can handle all standard microplate formats including tip boxes. A built in barcode reader can scan barcodes at any plate position inside the Cytomat Hotel. This minimizes plate movement and provides superior sample and plate tracking.
Based on the Plate Shuttle technology of our automated incubators the system operates reliably at any ambient condition.
