Chemiluminescent Technology NH3, NO, NO2, NOx, Nt Designed for ambient air monitoring this i Series analyzer provides long term stability and high reliability.
Product Detail
Using the light producing reaction of nitric oxide (NO) with ozone (O3) as the basic principle, Model 17i operates in three modes: NO, NOx, and Nt.
I. NO Mode: Sample is mixed with Ozone in the reaction chamber. This reaction produces a characteristic luminescence with intensity proportional to the concentration of NO.
II. NOx Mode: Sample is passed through a molybdenum converter to reduce any NO2 in the sample to NO. The sample is then transported to the reaction chamber where it is measured as NOx (NO + NO2 )
III. Nt Mode: Sample is passed through stainless steel converter where both the NO2 and the NH3 are converted to NO. The sample is then measured as Nt (NO + NO2 + NH3 )
The software subtracts NO from NOx and NOx from Nt and provides outputs of NO2 and NH3 respectively. The Model 17i can output NH3 along with NO, NO2, NOx, and Nt to the display or electronic outputs.
Key Features:
• Measurement of NH3 as well as NO, NO2, NOx, and Nt
