FTIR Multi-Gas CEMS, Model 70

  FTIR Multi-Gas CEMS, Model 70

A high level of sensitivity, specificity, and dynamic range in combination with high-speed data acquisition provides for accurate, real-time, continuous monitoring of up to ten gases with just one analyzer. Developed for combustion monitoring of waste incinerators and other complex applications, the Model 70 FTIR is designed for long periods of unattended operation and high unit availability. This results in a lower cost of ownership and less end-user maintenance.

   Product Detail

The Thermo Scientific Model 70 FTIR Analyzer provides research-grade system performance in an industrial spectrometer. To eliminate system-to-system spectrometer variability, the analyzer is manufactured in a stringent ISO 9000 environment using manufacturing tests to ensure system-to-system matching. The analyzer utilizes a precision-based component layout with permanently aligned optics.

High-speed data acquisition at high spectral resolution for real-time gas analysis is made possible by the Vectra interferometer. The FTIR continually monitors itself and provides "real-time" automatic optimization of the optical signal. The Vectra interferometer with dynamic alignment is also used in Thermo Scientific Research FTIR spectrometers. It provides exceptional high resolution line shapes, superior long and short term stability, and high speed/resolution data collection. The combination of speed and performance provides an analyzer capable of collecting data at 1 scan per every 4 seconds at 0.5 cm-1 resolution, ideal for detailed analysis of rapidly changing complex gas mixtures.

The dynamically aligned interferometer, with pinned-in-place, pre-aligned components, ensures permanent optic alignment. With no instrumental variation introduced into spectral collection or calibrations, method transferability is ensured. In addition, method maintenance is virtually eliminated allowing uninterrupted operation and analysis.

With over 25 years of experience as the leader in FTIR instrumentation, the Thermo Scientific laser, interferometer, source and optical components have a proven track record. In addition, easy user-replaceable consumables minimize downtime with no impact on data analysis or results.
