The stability of K-Series electrodes makes them ideal for industrial applications. The low drift means that calibration need not be performed as frequently as with standard silver/chloride type electrodes. With no silver ions in solution these electrodes have a good lifetime in samples containing sulphides, e.g. trade effluent.

K-series electrodes have proved themselves in many applications in the lab and field and we have now incorporated the technology in to our new designed Industrial range of electrodes. The designs are physically suited for both inline systems and dip systems having threads on each end of the electrode. Suitable for use in virtually any application the K-Series electrodes provide fast accurate results and are very low maintenance. Polymer filled electrodes do no require re-filling of the reference electrolyte. Additionally they do not contain ceramic junctions therefore problems associated with blocked junctions are eliminated. Samples containing sulphides, dichromates and samples which are viscous can be measured by the K-Series Industrial pH electrodes with ease.
With a variety of threaded ends available the K-Series Industrial electrodes are a versatile range and retrofitting into existing housings is always possible.
Electrodes are available with the 'S8' cap (screw cap and 13.5 pg thread on outside) which can be used in flowcells. The screw cap versions of these electrodes are preferred to avoid cable twisting. more robust designs are designed for less protected inline and dip use.
