Thermo Scientific Abgene 2D Barcoded 2 ml Screw Cap storage tubes combine a traditional storage format with the added benefits of a secure sample tracking and a high density, microplate footprint rack for easier sample handling. Unlike other plastic or cardboard storage boxes, the stackable, secure rack also ensures your freezer stays organized for faster sample retrieval.

These Abgene 2D barcoded 2 ml tubes are ideal for sample collection and storage of samples including DNA, blood, cell lines and tissue samples. A permanent 2D barcode is encapsulated onto the base of each tube to ensure safe, long term identification and tracking of samples. Complementary Thermo Scientific 2D barcode readers allow simple decoding and integration of 2D barcodes into spreadsheets, databases and existing tracking systems.
