Thermo Scientific PocketTips disposable automation tips feature a unique capillary pocket on the internal surface to allow delivery of nanoliter amounts of sample using existing liquid handling robotic systems. Simply drawing liquid into the tip, and immediately dispensing leaves 50, 100, 250, or 500 nl in the tip. Drawing your destination sample into the tip automatically mixes and the sample into your destination liquid.

Internally Molded Pocket Depending on the tip chosen, the pocket holds 50-500 nl of sample, and accurately delivers sample with less than 5% CV’s. Since the pocket is open, it will not clog even when used with greasy or sticky compounds, and since mixing occurs within the tip, cells or other sensitive samples are not damaged.
Ease of Use
PocketTips are easy to use on almost any liquid handling instrument and are available with 50, 100, 250, and 500 nl pockets in 96 or 384 formats. Since the external dimensions of the tip and rack are the same as standard automation tips, PocketTips require very little modification and setup and our highly skilled Automation Specialists are available to assist with setup and validation of your instrument with PocketTips.
