Thick-walled glass vials especially suited for heated derivatization reactions.

Thermo Scientific Reacti-Vial Small Reaction Vials are thick-walled glass, screw-cap vials that have external flat bottoms and internal conical bottoms. The vials are specially designed for heated sample reactions and incubations in Reacti-Therm Heating/Stirring Modules equipped with compatible Reacti-Block Aluminum Blocks. Compatible triangular Reacti-Vial Magnetic Stirrers enable sample stirring in each vial placed in a Reacti-Therm Heating/Stirring Module. The vials are supplied with PTFE/Rubber Laminated Discs and Open-Top Screw Caps. Other types of discs or septa are also available.

  • Six sizes – choose between 0.1, 0.3, 1.0, 3.0, 5.0 and 10.0 ml vial sizes
  • Designed for heating – high-quality thick glass ideal for reactions in dry block heaters
  • Perfect for small samples – conical inside bottoms keep small-volume samples together with the least amount of surface area; clear, thick-walled glass magnifies sample, making it easy to see
  • Effective septa and caps – laminated septa and open-top screw caps provide inert, air-tight seal and direct puncture-access to sample with a syringe needle
  • Complete – supplied with open-top screw caps and PTFE/Rubber Laminated Discs (PTFE/Silicone Laminated Discs are available separately)
