The Amylase reagent offers the laboratory a 3-month reconstituted stability and various kit sizes to minimize reagent wastage.
Product Detail
Amylase is most frequently measured in the diagnosis of acute pancreatitis when serum levels may be grossly elevated. Hyperamylasemia is associated with, but not limited to, other acute abdominal disorders, biliary tract disease, diabetic ketoacidosis, severe glomerular dysfunction, salivary gland disorders, ruptured ectopic pregnancy and macroamylasemia.
The Amylase reagent is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of Amylase in serum or urine. With a 3-month reconstituted stability, the various kit sizes make it suitable for all laboratory needs. The reagent is suitable for manual use or on automated clinical chemistry analyzers. Applications for a wide range of automated analyzers are available on request.
