The Total Bilirubin reagent offers at least 21 days working reagent stability and various kit sizes minimizing reagent wastage.
Product Detail
Bilirubin is produced from the catabolism of the heme molecule. Total bilirubin consists of both conjugated (direct) and unconjugated (indirect) fractions. Increased levels are associated with conditions causing obstruction of the bile duct, hepatitis, cirrhosis, hemolytic disorders, physiological jaundice of the newborn, and several inherited enzyme deficiencies.
The Total Bilirubin reagent is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of Total Bilirubin in serum. With at least 21 days working reagent stability, the various kit sizes make it suitable for all laboratory needs. The reagent is suitable for manual use or on automated clinical chemistry analyzers. Applications for both sample blanking and non sample blanking methods are available for a wide range of automated analyzers on request.
