Thermo Scientific HyClone Iron-Supplemented Calf Serum is collected by venipuncture from formula-fed veal calves (16 to 22 weeks at time of collection), which produce exceptionally high levels of transferrin. This Thermo Scientific HyClone Standard grade serum is carefully collected, processed, and filtered in New Zealand, offering maximum safety against bovine diseases. Each lot is completely traceable and conforms to USDA regulations, which is critical for users who are producing products requiring regulatory approval through the FDA, USDA, or other regulatory agency.
